Especially for the recently opened Textile innovation Centre in Belgium (Campus TIO3) Material Sense put new developments in textiles on display in a temporarily exhbition.
The value of textiles nowadays brings together original inherited materials, old- and renewed crafts and new technological developments.

One part of the exhibition is selected from our travelling theme exhibitions; D-Compose, Responsive and Rematerialize. The use of textiles is shown, from the fields of interior-, and technical textiles, to geo textiles and textiles used in architecture. Sustainability and smart finishing and manufacturing technologies take a central role. Another part represents the process of the ‘Textile cabinet' that was designed by Material Sense for the Dutch Textile Museum.
